The week leading up to vacation (2/11-2/15) is KINDNESS WEEK for all of RSU57. Waterboro students are encouraged to participate in this week of kindness with the spirit days presented below. Additionally, there is a Great Kindness Challenge page attached (think, random acts of kindness) that also has a QR code for the interactive app, should you want to use that at home as well, and a list of books with kindness and compassion as central themes.
We at W1ES wish you a WONDERFUL week of Kindness!
December 6, 2018-- WES November Newsletter
Dec. 3, 2018
Dear WES Families,
This Friday, Channel 8 will be broadcasting the morning weather report live from WES!
[Mrs. Bertinet] will be at WES for the 6:15am and 6:35am live reports. Please let me know if you and your child would like to be present for a brief moment of fame. Ted McInerney and the Channel 8 News Team travel to schools in Maine to include children in live weather reports. They also spend time in classrooms teaching students about meteorology.
Also, we have some Charleston Wrap boxes still in the office. Please stop by to pick up your purchase if you have not already done so. The main office is open until 4pm.
Lastly, thank you to all who showed up to our Holiday Fair this past weekend. Thanks to the generosity of our many volunteers and the dedication of our PTO, the fair raised over $10,000again this year! This money will be used to support programming at WES. Stay tuned for more information...
Have a wonderful week!
